Vlog - The Bushcraft Forest This video is a short Vlog from the forest where my friends and I go to practice Bushcraft. It starts with a quick remake of a famous scene from the film Gladiator. I then wander down in to the forest, show you around and finish off by taking in the views from the edge of a gritstone cliff.

Peak District - Wild Camping - Bamford Edge The location for this wild camp was Bamford Edge in the Peak District. My friend Ray and I decided to head out for a last minute camp when I noticed the weather was due to play nicely. We grabbed our army issue bivvy bags, picked up a few beers and headed out to enjoy what was to be an amazing sunset. The music used in this movie is an unnamed creation that I made a few years ago with Propellerheads Reason.. I'm a big fan of Enigma so the track was made in a chilled out Enigma style.

Thunderstorm - GoPro Hero 3 We have had some glorious summery days recently, the arrival of rain and thunder was inevitable... this is the UK after all. Thankfully though my GoPro was fully charged when the thunder arrived :-) I went outside in the rain for 20 minutes and this video is the result. I have sped up the bits in between so you can see the best bits.... the Lightening.

Peak District - Shining Tor Wild Camp It's always great to get out in the Peak District, even if it's only for a very short time. A few of my twitter friends had planned a 2 day walk in the western Peak and I couldn't resist the temptation to join them for at least one night. I finished work at 19:00, met them at the Cat & Fiddle, camped up on Shining Tor, awoke at 04:45 and then headed to work for 07:00. It was a great night with great company.

We headed for a walk along the River Amber which flows through Amber Valley in Derbyshire. During our childhood we spent many a happy time messing about in the river here, it was great to go back and see how the place had changed.
