We then walked via the Ghostbusters Firehouse aka FDNY Hook & Ladder No. 8 to Washington Square Park and then back to Grand Central Station. New York City - Statue of Liberty & The Empire State Day 3 of our NYC trip sees us take a boat to the Statue of Liberty, we then hire CitiBikes and ride across the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges before going up the Empire State Building. The day was finished off with a night time ride on an open to bus to see the city lights. Day 2 in New York City sees us head to ground zero to learn more about the tragic events that took place on September the 11th 2001. We visited the 9/11 Memorial and took a trip up the new One World Trade Center. Afterwards we walked along the High Line and went to see the Broadway Show “The School of Rock”.
